Tuesday Morning Sketches# 409

Tuesday Morning Sketches #409

Hey peeps, here's our sketch for the week. I sure hope you have time to join us this week!

Tomorrow is the last day of school. My daughter is finished Grade 2 and words can not express how much we appreciate Mr. A. He was amazing with the kids and we are so sad that he won't be at the school next year but we are so happy that he is following the Lord's plan for him and he is heading over seas to teach.
Since he loves to travel all over the world I thougth this Graduating World stamp is perfect! Paired it with some embossed musical paper. During my volunteer time at the school it wasn't uncommom to hear Mr. A singing or humming a tune as he took student through the halls, while he was in the work room, staff room or library. My favorite memory was the celebration the grade two class lead for the school and he taught the kids "Hallelujah" He played piano and they all sang! It was amazing!

Please make sure you stop by the other fabulous design team blogs.

June Inspiration for Flowers, Feathers and Fairies

Good Morning Peeps!

I've been so crazy busy this month with birthdays, camping, huge storm that hit our town and volunteering at the school with my tiny humans that I'm alittle behind on my project. Better late than never though right?

This month I choose to use the Flower Unicorn as my inspirational project. You can purchase her here.
Flower Unicorn - digi stamp JPEG + PNG

And here's what I have created with her.

This is a 5x7 piece colored using this months copic coloring project class at Kit and Clowder. Aylce is an amazing teacher! When you purchase a class from her you recieve so much more than just the class. She has a printout with step by step instructions, a lengthy video of her creating the project and the best part is she is always willing to help you out if you get stuck or have any questions.

I would love to enter this project into the following challenges.

Father's Day Mugs for the Dad's

I wanted to share a couple Father's Day Mug that I did for a couple special Dad's

I saw these on pinterest and I just had to make a couple. My kids are obsessed with emjoi's right now. So I made "Dad you're the shit" mugs for my hubby and our friend next door. The deer mug went to another neighbour who say it on pinterest and called me to see if I could make it. Of course!

This is my second entry for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Masculine/Father's Day.
I used Varsity Font, Deer from Close to my Heart - Artistry and poop emoji was a svg that I uploaded.

Father's Day Mugs for Grandpa's

I wanted to share a couple Father's Day Mug that I did for a couple special Grandpa's.

The fist is for my father in law who love Case and Farmall Tractors. I used outdoor vinyl on mugs from the dollar store. The font is Varsity and the tractor is a jpeg that I imported into design space and cleaned it up.

The second mug here is for our neighbours papa. I love helping out and creating a personalize gift. I also used Varsity font on this mug. It's so masculine and holds on well.

I would love to add this to Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Masculine/Father's Day.

Tuesday Morning Sketches #408

Good Morning Friends,

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Please join us for another great sketch this week!

This card is going to our favorite TA at our school. She's been working in my son's class in the morning and then my daughter's class for the afternoon. With both kids loving her we wanted to do something super special for her. We know she lives close to the lake and enjoys spending time down there so we are gifting her this card, a beach towel and mat with a personalized water bottle and maybe a gossip magazine or two.

Primrose Sprite

Last week Aurora Wings had a 3K celebration for followers and we were given a freebie image Primrose Sprite for a limited time. The image is now available for purchase at the Digi Shop at AuroraWings.com.

Isn't she adorable!?!

I just had to color her right away. Now the challenge this month at Aurora Wings is "Celebration" and I was going to make this into a birthday card. As I was coloring I recieved a call that my uncle's mom has passed away. So instead I turned this little cutie into a celebration of life!  Celebrating her 93 years on earth with us and forever with our Heavenly Father.

I would love to enter this into the following challenges.

World Wide Open Design Team #23

Welcome to my blog, today I'm sharing a card I created for World Wide Open Design Team Challenge #23

featuring The Bunny Cake

With both kids in school and creating wonderful friendships, I can't seem to create enough birthday cards for our stash. My daughter picked the bunny out of the collection offered this month and said "it's just perfect for my friends!" I couldn't argue with that! This little bunny is adorable and I'm so happy to have the opportunity to color her up.

If you have been following my blog you will already know that I love stitched dies and have been searching for the perfect circles and ovals for my collection. And it has finally happened! At retreat this year I found the Elizabeth Craft Dies 1116 - stitched circles. This set has both dots (like a needle piercing) and slots or dashes. I'm soooooooo excited to have these in my collection.

Here's my card: I used some Close to my heart products again. Georgie paper pack, juniper ink and a very old baby stamp set. This was my card for my nephew who I finally got to meet on Saturday. So much hair he is just perfect!
