Merry Monday #51

Good Morning,

My old printer bit the dust and I've purchased a new Epson Stylus NX430 which uses the proper ink to color images with copics. I've been collecting free digi stamps for years and purchased a few along the way. The old printer would not print digis clearly and it would smear if I tried to use a copic marker. So here is my first card using a digi stamp from Whimsy and Stars Studio

Supplies used: SU Festival of Prints paper stack, Cherry Cobbler ink, Yellow Stickles, Copic Markers G14, Y02, R29, R59, Tree Digi Stamp from Whimsy and Stars Studio, Sentiment from Unity Stamps

Close up of the tree to show the stickles on the stars.

This card was created from the Merry Monday challenge. I played by using Red, Digital and Designer Paper for this challenge. Thanks for stopping by and I would love for you to leave a comment if you don't mind. Happy stamping.

Celebrate with hot air baloon...

Pretty sure my little guy is teething or going through a growth spurt. He was so clingy this morning I ran out of time posting this card.

I had made this card using the sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches (which closed at noon today) using this great sketch from Allisa (love her blog) and also using the colors this week over at Dynamic Duos. I couldn't locate any of my pool party cardstock when I was crafting so I ended up using Lacoon from Close to my Heart. I used my cricut to cut out the two layers of hot air baloon, two shapes to mat, tag for sentiment and a few clouds out of scraps. I used the negative space to sponge clouds onto my white cardstock. Added a few brads and voila, a perect birthday card for a special little boy in March.

Make a wish

I'm busy working on the many birthday cards I need for March. Here is a male card I created this morning. All my paper is from my scrap bin. The DSP is an old line from SU (I think it was called Manchester) The label is a cut out from Spellbinders "Page Maps" and the stamp is from the $1.50 bin at Michael's. This card is created based on the Sketch over at Sketch Frenzy Friday.

And below is a photo of the sketch created for us by the very talented Sharon Wheat. If you have a minute please pop over to her blog and leave her some love for this sketch and the super cute bunny card. Once I'm finished with all these birthday cards I will be working on Easter.

I give you my love

Wow, I'm on a roll today posting all my heart day cards. I promise this is the last one for now.

This special card is for our sweet little girl. She is three and a half and so excited for Valentine's Day. Every morning she wakes up and asks if it's Valentine's yet? I'm pretty sure she's figured out that there might be candy/chocolate involved.

Stamp is from Little Loud Stamps: Charlotte's Valentine. I used the window punch, label punch, framelits, edgelits and the matching embossing edge. My SU consultant and friend Trish challenged us last get together to use all our shapes in different ways. Really got me thinking about the punches and framelits. I like how this turned out.

Here are the copics used on this card. BV01, BV0000, R20, R81, R85, E000, E00, E11, Y23, YR24,YR27, Y35, Y38

I'm entering this card over at the monthly challenge at One Crazy Stamper this month the lucky winner get a stamp pack from Marianne Designs with the cutest little bears.

We're Better Together

I made this card last week and have finally found the time to post it on my blog. The sketch is from last weeks sketch challenge over at Splitcoast I made this card for my dear husband for heart day.

Sending love your way

Happy heart day to my parents AKA: Grannie and Gramps. Grannie loves hot air baloons so I new this stamp from Ain't Love Grand was perfect for their card.

Copics were used to color the image:
Basket YR23, YR27
Hearts RV14
Balloon BV01, BV000, BG05, BG000
Shadow around image: BG000, BG0000

All paper is from Stampin Up

I {Heart} You

Here is my 17 month old boys Valentine's Day card. I saw this card and knew it was perfect for Mason. Here is my take on it.

I changed a few things about the card using hearts from a close to my heart stamp set called Whoo's your Valentine. Hopefully Mason doesn't pull it apart to quickly. Thanks for stopping by today.

Spring Zebra

Back in December I was a random winner over at One Crazy Stamper's Blog this Spring Zebra was one of three Whimsy Stamps that I won. I finally got around to inking it up. I was going to use this purple zebra for my little girls valentines day card but switch my mind half way through (her card will be posted today if my boy continues to nap)

I used some old SU cardstock for the base and the note top. Ribbon is called ice cream parlor from SU. I colored my little zebra with the following copics.
V22, V28, C3, C5, G21, G43, BG05, BG07, Y35, Y38, YR09, R81, BG000, BG0000

Happy Birthday

A very happy birthday today for a special auntie of ours. For this card I embossed some retired paper from SU with a sizzix folder called spring flowers, used my framelits to cut out the middle of purple and stamped the sentiment on the white. The stamp is from You're Amazing. The stamp pad is a kaleidacolor pad from Su titled celebration. Does anyone remember these? I was surprised it had any ink left in it as I'm sure I purchased it way back in 1999. I'm thinking my daughter might enjoy using it for her stamps as I don't have any of the refils for it.
