Tuesday Morning Sketches #399

Good morning friends,
Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend! My family had a great time with dear friends over a big Easter feast and then yesterday we had a little family trip to Chuck E. Cheese. We had a blast together.

As part of parent council for the school our children attend, I was asked to create three cards for our fabulous ladies who work so well together in the office. Administrative Assistant Day is April 26, 2017 and we wanted to send them flowers along with a personalized card for each of them. I used my cricut to write the sentiment and cut out the coral oval, a white layer with a spiral spellbinder, some old Stampin Up floral paper and two recollections butterflies covered with steel blue Inka Gold.

I would love to enter this into the following challenges
Fantabulous Cricut Challenge - Spring (font Wednesday and oval from Days and Dates)

Please check out the rest of the design teams blogs and leave them some love.

New Release - Springtime flowers

Thanks for stopping by today. I'm super excited to share my design team projects for two of the new releases from Flowers, Feathers and Fairies. My first one is snowdrop fairy.

I colored my image up with copics and added some clear wink of stella to the wings. I found the colored cardstock in my stash but had difficulties in locating some designer paper to match. Thanks when I dug out my embossing folders and found the perfect swirl to match her wings. I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday  to finish off the card. I just turned the sketch and added some shimmer trim and heart embellishments.

I would love to enter into the following challenges.
Crafty Gals Corner - challenge 118 Pastel Colors
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - April 12, 2017

The second image I'm sharing today is called Peony Fairy

This image is also colored up with copics and a bit of clear wink of stella on the wings, flower and her shoes. Pink glitter paper is my base layer and then added this gorgeous specialty paper from Molly & Rex that I found at my local Michael's. Added a butterfly swirl die cut, some paper flowers and for the center of the light pink flower I punched a 1/4" circle out of the glitter paper.

I would love to enter this second card into the following challenges.
Fusion Card Challenge - fusion truck bouquet (the gorgeous flowers inspired me)

Unicorn Challenge Challenge 20 - petal power

Tuesday Morning Sketches #397

Good Morning Friends,

I'm working on building up my boy/male birthday card stash. This weeks sketch is perfect.

Sketch #397

Sponsor: Bugaboo (prize: 4 images)

My card features BUGBDAYPUPS
Bugaboo is currently moving her store to a new website. As soon as the new site is up and running I will post the link for you to find this adorable image.

I colored these pups with copic markers, added various designer papers from My Mind's Eye (Hip-Hooray) The papers came with a sheet of punch outs. I took the present and dipped it in my melting pot with clear embossing powder to create my own dimensional embellishment.

Dragon with Cupcake

Good Morning Friends,

Today I'm sharing with you a brand new image from Flowers, Feathers and Fairies called Cupcake Dragon. Sabrina is such an amazing artist. After hearing about Sara's daughters (one of her designers) love for dragons and unicorns she created a special set. You can purchase the bundle of three images or each digi individually.
Flower Unicorn - digi stamp JPEG + PNG
Unicorn and Dragon - Digi Stamp JPEG+PNG

Here is my card

I used my lovely copics to color him up. Cut him out with a spellbinder label. Found this My mind's eye paper in my stash (after reorganizing all my cardstock and designer paper) The paper is from the collection called Hip Hooray. To create the tattered edge on all the layers I used my favorite tool from Closet to my Heart, the edge distresser tool.

I would love to enter this into the following challenges.
Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #116 - Anything goes
Simon Says #37 - Anything goes (use at least one die cut or punch)
