Tuesday Morning Sketches #412

Tuesday Morning Sketches #412

Hi All!  Sorry I'm late with my post. The kids and I have been hit with Strep Throat/Ear Infections. Slowly recovering after lots of sleep, cuddles and great meds from the doctors.

This week's sketch is super clean and simple...

This week's theme is:  Embellishments

The prize this week is a fun stamp set by Kaiser Craft...

Here's my creation. I finally used the gold washi tape that's been sitting in the drawer for some time now. Gold, Ivory and Red have been showing up on my pinterest news feed lately with wedding ideas. I thought this color combo would be great for an anniversary card. I need a few more for July/August so this one will be used right away.

Check out what the rest of the team created....
This sketch is perfect to feature your collection of washi tapes or use up some scraps of papers.  Have fun with this!  You have until Sunday, 8pm EST to link up.  Anything linked after that time - we will love seeing it but it will not be considered for the prize drawing.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 411

Good Morning Tuesday Morning Sketches Friends,

Tuesday Morning Sketches

Who's ready for Christmas in July!?! We are this week over at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!!! I can't wait to share this amazing sketch and the digi that I have used. I love CHRISTMAS so much and last year I gave in to the elf on the shelf idea for the kids. Only after finding our elf at 50% while doing some last minute shopping with my bestie. Our elf only relocates in the house after visiting Santa at night. I'm not into anything to crazy but do have a great pinterest board with loads of ideas for "snowball" to do.

Here's my card:

Our sketch:

Digital Stamp - Shocked elf - 300dpi jpeg file by Erica Bruton
Isn't he just adorable!!! I colored him with a bunch of different copic markers, cut him out to look like he was sitting on the edge of the bookshelf, mounted him on some Close to my Heart paper and added a shimmy boarder and a tag with my own saying on it. I couldn't find a stamp or alphabet set that I liked so I used a glittery gel pen.

Love popping him into my Christmas Card bin so early this year. Make sure you visit the rest of the ladies and see their creations for our Christmas in July over at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

July Release - Flowers, Feathers and Fairies

Sorry I'm late everyone! I had a blog post typed up and ready to go before I left for holidays and when I returned home today I noticed it did not post on July 1st as I intended, and it's not saved in my blogger. So here I am again typing out this blog post.

NEW RELEASE!!!
I'm so excited to share with you all this amazing image that Sabrina has been working on for us. Every since the huntress was release I've been asking for a hunter. My hubby has started bow hunting a few years ago and now this summer both our daughter and son will be attending archery lessons. So fun to have a family activity to do together (shooting 3d targets) This image is perfect for us!

There's two images merged together in this scene and you can find them both on the links below. Make sure you also visit the Flowers, Feathers & Fairies blog to see what the other ladies created.

Tuesday Morning Sketches 410

Good morning friends,

Today I'm sharing another fun sketch for Tuesday Morning Sketches. I also want to take a second to wish my fellow Canadian's a very Happy 150th Birthday. I hope you and your families had a great celebration. And to all our American friends Happy Indepence Day today.

Please make sure you take a minute or two and visit the rest of the fabulous design team members.

Here's the sketch

And here's the Anniversary Card I created for my brother and his wife. No extra embellishements means a regular stamp for the mailbox.
