Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #99

Challenge #99- 3 of a Kind

This week the challenge is 3 of a Kind!

Hi Ladies and Gents, today is my final post as a designer for Crafty Gals Corner. When I apply to be part of the team I was anticipating having extra time on my hands while my two precious kiddos were at school (grade 2 and kindergarten) I'm pleased to say it has been the complete opposite. In September I was invited to be part of the parent council. There was an opening for the milk program and hot lunch that my friend and I took over. I'm volunteering in both childrens classroom, both which have had change in teachers October and November. The change has been stressful on my youngest so I've been busy helping him with the tranistion. With my husband away 50% of the time I'm really struggling to keep up with the craftying that this team deserves. And for those reasons I have stepped down from the team. I would  like to thank all the Crafty Gals for their love during my time with them. A special thanks to Samantha, thank you so much for having me and understanding my need to step down!

And now for this weeks card. Our challenge is three of a kind, I've added three wooded ornaments around my little bear. Sprayed them with some Heidi Swapps Sprays and added some gold extra thick embossing powder. This fold on the card may look familar to you as I used the same fold last week. I'm loving it paired with my new spellbinder dies.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge 97 Use a sentiment

Challenge #97- Use a Sentiment

This week the challenge is Use a Sentiment !

Our sponsor this week is:

Lacy Sunshine
Prize: 3 Digital Images
Here's a bit about our sponsor:
"Heather Valentin  is  creative ,  award winning,  modern-day  fantasy and  whimsical  artist who has displayed a dynamic and vibrant energy while painting professionally for over 18 years.
She  began to express herself creatively through movement at a very young age.
For many years she studied dance, being drawn to forms that allowed creative self expression, all the while feeling this constant urge to create with her hands. The canvas is now her dance floor where color, beauty and drama are expressed through her every pencil sketch and  brush stroke. Her  subjects vary from fairies, fantasy, mermaids, vampires, dragons, wildlife, abstract and more. She is one who is inspired in a single moment. Her  dreams, moods and the the unfolding beauty of the world around her is what charts her dance for the day. She is most alive when sketching and painting, creating timeless pieces that reflect her heart and soul. Drawing breathes life into her soul- it enables her to reach out and touch lives. This gives her a place in the world one character and painting at a time.
Heather's  artist portfolio  has  expanded to include such  clients  as   Pepsi, Outback Steakhouse, Nabisco, Zephryhils  and can now be found  at Laguna Art, Third Stone Art Gallery and Sausalito Art Galleries, along with commercial and private collections across the globe. "

TMS #377

Today I have a really fun card to share with you. My crafty friend Sara cut out a whole bunch of die cuts for my birthday this year. I'm so excited to finally get to use this special die cut. Together we found the perfect paper from Echo Park Paper Co. called Hello Winter. I'm loving this color scheme and will be using it for our tobogganing scrapbook pages this winter.

Crafty Gals Corner Challenge #96 ~ Anything but a Card

This week the challenge is Anything but a Card!

The design team has some amazing projects so please make sure you send them some love. My project is a bookmark. Each year the kids have made different ones for my mom and this year I thought I would send her a special one from me.

I have great memories of attending the community church service full of love and Christmas music. No matter where I am if I hear "Go tell it on a Mountain!" I stop and think of my mom and all the times we have sang that together. Last year my daughter found a version by Pentatonix that is now our favorite version! I'm so excited to have this little Christmas girl from All Dressed up in my collection of digi's.  I hope you find some inspiration from this post.

TMS #376

Good Morning friends,

Today is another fantastic day at Tuesday Morning Sketches. I am in full CHRISTMAS swing now. Pulled out my Christmas socks and CD's, enjoyed a nice hot coffee while creating this week's card.

I love this Santa paper from Stampin Up. I found a big enough snippet to use as a card base add some black gems in the bottom corners. I cut out the HO HO HO tag using my cricut explore, black cardstock and red VINYL! I've fallen in love with vinyl again! Added some black twine and now I have one of the nephews cards created in October! (well technically this post isn't published until November 1st but it was done before.)
