We've been invited to our very first ice cream social to celebrate our dear little friend's 2nd birthday next week. I'm really looking forward to it. The mom of this little friend is very crafty and has been busy making ice cream name tags, a game, cone cupcake holders, center pieces, sundae cups, etc. It's going to a blast!
Thanks for stopping by my blog, if you love my card would love for you to leave a comment or even better become a follower.
I haven't played over at Tuesday Morning Sketches for awhile and thought I would give it a go today.
Here's the card that I've created:

There is a blog that I've been following from the beginning but have not played along until today. The blog is all about BIRTHDAY cards! This blog is perfect because they use the same sketch for two weeks, first for female cards and then for masculine cards. Once I get into a routine with this blog I'm going to try and two cards a week one for a child and one for an adult. But for today my card is for a little man who loves parents love the color orange and he is starting to show an interest for dino's.

Inks: Goldrush, Lagoon (CTMH) and Chocolate Chip (SU)
DSP: Peach Parfait (SU) and the white with bones is a border stamp from Roar stamped four times on white paper

Please take a second to hop over to the blog and check out the great cards posted by the design team Seize the Day
Here's the sketch
I'm also entering this card over at Twisted Tuesday's free for all challenge this week. Please hop over there and check out this great challenge too please.

QFTD149 and CC410
Adding to my stash of anniversary cards here's my card that I whipped up while little M is napping. I made this card for two challenges the first is Queen of the Day - Diane congratulations Diane. I love her variety of birds and flowers on her cards. This is the card that I cased of hers. I changed the embosing folders and added a bird to create the anniversary feel to the card and changed the colors to go with the second challenge for this card. Color Challenge 410 using soft suede, calypso coral and pool party. Hope you enjoy this card, thanks for taking a look and leaving a comment.
Card and Photo Frame for Oma's 61st Birthday
Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I want to share an altered project with you that my 3-1/2 year old daughter helpe me with. We were in Michaels and she asked if we could buy something to paint like this $20 wooden rocket ship that was a no but we agreed on a couple of $1.5 photo frames for her. And aryclic paint was on a great sale so we grabbed a few bottles of paint too.
So when we got home she ran inside and grabbed her painting smock and climbed up onto her chair ready to paint. Once both frames were painted she turned and asked if I would and some bling. I love crafting with my girl. Here's what we created.

I also created a matching card using the same papers used for the flowers on the frame.

Enjoy the ride TLC410
The try a new technique challenge over at Splitcoast on Monday was chalkboard technique. It looks so neat I just had to try it out. My husband turned 39 today and loves to ride his mountain bike, I've ordered him a neck brace for his crazy riding. It hasn't arrived in the mail yet (due to the holidays) so I needed to create a bike card for him to explain the delay in his gift.
