This was the most challenging create and learn so far for me. But that's why I signed up for this class right? was to learn new techniques. I'm pleased with the results of this ice wall, multi layered dress, ice tone skin for the ice queen and the dip dyed hair. I love these classes as we learn more than one technique at a time. Each of these techniques can be used on so many images I already own. Can't wait to color up some more.
This class is offered until September 14th and then it's a new one. If you are up for the challenge you can join us over at Kit and Clowder for the Create and Learn

July Create and Learn
This is the first "BOY" create and learn that I have done. I love it! It has many techniques in it that I was dying to learn. Umbrella's, water refection, rainbow's!
If you are interested in joining these classes I've added a link on the bottom. The class is available from July 15 - August 14th. So this umbrella boy is retired now but today is the release of a STUNNING, BEAUTIFUL winter scene. I will be starting that class tonight and I hope you will join us. Alyce is an amazing teacher and takes you through each step in video and paper tutorials.

Grumpy Cat
A couple of months ago I saw a card with this svg on it. I saved the svg for myself but forgot to save the crafters name and blog so I could give credit.
Our neighbor is always posing silly for photos. He is famous for pulling the grumpy cat face while his wife and girls are smiling pretty. His birthday was a while ago but he was away working. This weekend he was home so we had time to celebrate his special day.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge this week is having a sketch challenge.
This card used:
SVG Grumpy Cat
The First Few Years (Pointed Label)
Classroom Feb & March (Scallop Border)
Basic Shapes (rectangle which was then embossed with Gears in the big shot)
Unity Stamps (#hashtag kit)
Distress Ink (Mermaid Lagoon)
CTMH Aqua Dots

Sassy studio design's card swap
Sassy studio design's card swap was on facebook and my card will be posted there once my partner receives it. But until then I thought I would share it with you here as well.
The image is called Vivian gear frame. I had so much fun coloring her up, and of course I used my favorite color TEAL. Bo Bunny papers, some metal gears, extra thick twine and a Verve stamp sentiment complete this card.
I hope Chris likes this card and I can't wait to see what she creates for me.
Have a great day!
Chelsea turns 2!
Our sweet little niece turns two pretty soon. She is in love with Elmo so I just had to use my explore and create an amazing Sesame Street pop up box card. I used these instructions over at Splitcoast to make the base.
I used the print and cut feature for most of the friends. I picked yellow card base and bobunny design paper (polka dots which you can see and candles on the base and back side where we will write our message to her.
Cameron turns 22!
Our oldest nephew turns twenty two and here's the card we sent him for his special day.
I made this card earlier this year at a copic card class with Chelsey who runs Personal Touch Scrapbooking. She's so talented and fun to hang out with. If you are in central alberta I strongly suggest taking a class with her.
