Very Very Very late belated birthday

My dear friend Sara celebrated her birthday in APRIL. Even though we talk every day sometimes for hours on end... I haven't had a chance to get her card to her yet. Terrible I know!!!!

Well this afternoon I dropped off a package for her at her work. Hopefully she's surprised and gets it before she sees this post.

I have had this image colored for her in mind for almost 6 months. See, sometimes I'm early.

I'm so excited to share this project that my daughter helped me with. We wanted to create something super special for our super dad. I thought how fun would it be for him to receive a card colored by her.

Here's the sketch that Melissa created for us.

Here's what I created.

And the final project with coloring done by my recently 7 yr old daughter 

(her birthday was last Wednesday!)

She used her new water color pencil crayons and a blending tool.
