My kids are back to school, not many birthdays in the near future for our family so I'm taking these quiet fall days to get a great head start on Christmas cards. I hope this inspires you to join our sketch challenge this week.

September Calendar

So when I turned my calendar upstairs from August to September I had a terrible moment of anxiety. In November/December I made three 6x6 calendars as gifts for the grandparents and our favorite Auntie who lives way to far away. At the same time I created the layouts for my calendar with the same paper packs and stamps. BUT I didn't finish mine!!! So here I am on September 3rd creating the rest of the year.

Here's September's layout.

The calendar month with the apple is from the Cricut Cartridge Classroom - August & September and the back to school layout is from the Cricut Cartridge Family Album and I would love to enter it into the back to school challenge over at Fantabulous Cricut. This is my second entry for this challenge.

I'm so excited to be the Guest Designer for the month of September for Amanda at Faery Ink. I can't wait to show you all the fun stuff I have created. Here's my first project to share.

Faery Ink Facebook September Challenge- Warm Colors- Red, Yellow, Orange

For this challenge I have used the beautiful Autumnrose First Day High School  I've colored her up with various copic markers to look like my little girl. Do you like the soft glow around here? I learnt how to color that background from Alyce over at Kit and Clowder.

I've sent this card in her lunch box today on her first day of GRADE 2! Where or where is the time going? She's growing up so quickly.
