Card for Tanner

This is my first time playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch! Hope I did this sketch justice. I'm also posting this for Seize the Birthday Challenge with toppings of "masculine card" It makes me so happy to try new techniques that are out side of my normal. This card is going to my middle nephew who is turning 21! Man oh man does time ever fly by!

Supplies used: Retro Fresh DSP, Coastal Cabana card stock, cinnamon stickles and triangle studs.

I used Cricut Design Studio and Explore to cut and slice the Happy Birthday. Used half of all the negative and positive pieces for each side and carefully glued each in place on the card front.

Daddo

Recently our little boy (3) has decided that he will no longer call us mommy and daddy, we are now mamma and daddo. This drives our daughter (5) crazy, lol. She keeps telling him to call me MOM it's just three letters and way earlier to say. He sure knows how to push her buttons.

So with this latest little drama in our lives I thought I should make DADDO his own card from Mason.

Supplies used: Coastal Cabana paper and ribbon, white and grey cardstock, grey twine, Mother of pearl light blue modelling crème, Clear Scraps xo stencil, circuit explore with design space to cut out heart and write daddo, and teal dots in the top right corner.

I used a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Poinsetta

I'm in love with this die that my mom mailed to me. It's from poppy stamps. I cut the base in red and the detail layer in white. Used the same piece of red for the mat behind the music paper. Punched some white leaves out using a Martha Stewart punch. Rolled the leaves of the poinsettia. Added some Diamond stickles (which you can't see in the photo), three red gems in the center and glitter ribbon on the bottom as the banner.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I'm entering this card on three different challenges.
One Crazy Stamper - red, white, die challenge
Christmas Cards all year long - February Challenge red and white color scheme
Merry Monday - music theme or carollers

Happy Birthday Torran

We had a blast sledding with our family friends over the Christmas break. All three children have birthdays in February and I need to get the cards in the mail as soon as possible.  Here's the first card.

Supplies used: scraps from the bin (grey, blue, patterned papers), silver and white shimmer trim, stamps SU wonderful winterland, SU work of art, Unity Happy Birthday (versa mark and white embossing powder). Copic paper and markers skin E00, E50, hair Y21, Y23, winter gear B12, B14, boots Spectrum Noir IG6, IG4 on the tube. Also used clear wink of stella on the hat and mitts.

Can you see my error and how I fixed it? I stamped the Happy Birthday in grey after mounting the rest of the card. I was so crooked I couldn't stand it so I grabbed the work of are swoosh and stamped over in the same grey and then tried again with versa mark and white embossing powder. You can see the crooked sentiment if you look super close but hopefully the 4 year old receiver of this card won't mind.

Have a great day!

I am sharing this card over at Seize the Birthday Anything goes and Freshly Made Sketches.
